I rented a halo ce server sometime in 2007 before that, but had it for a month before i knew what an rcon was. Gaming is so esoteric and wasteful. And teamwork and competition? forget about it. I think the industry chose profits from millions of child gamers over any kind of longterm substance in any game. Except wow maybe, and they say that will be in decline, regardless of devs or hardcore fans intentions. Gaming really is a solitary and transient hobby, in it's core.
